The Participatory Spatial Intervention: Addressing vulnerabilities through infrastructure, is a piece of research led by Dr Andrea Rigon, part of the British Academy funded project “Public Services and vulnerability in the Lebanese context of large-scale displacement”. led by Principal Investigator Prof. Henrietta Moore, at the Institute for Global Prosperity, UCL.
The video shows the use of participatory design and participatory research methods to explore intra-community diversity. The process built a unique space in which people from different groups could jointly design an intervention to address their vulnerabilities while including their aspirations in the planning process.
Thanks to all Bar Elias residents who generously participated in this process.
