Ecoplay is an eco-friendly playground intervention as part of the EcoHub, a space set up by Ahla Fawda NGO, Catalytic Action and IGP's research team at the Prosperity Co-Laboratory for Lebanon (PROCOL Lebanon) at the heart of Beirut city with the aim to restore ecosystems and promote sustainability through creativity and community engagement.
EcoPlay aims to create a play area for all community members using discarded materials. To achieve this, a participatory approach was utilised to research local materials and engage residents and key stakeholders to think about eco-friendly design.
