PROCOL Kenya Climate Emergency Africa
The gEOthermalKenya project, led by Omanos Analytics in partnership with Global Surface Intelligence (GSI), was funded through UK Space Agency’s International Partnership Programme. The project involved collaboration with the Kenyan National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) and the Institute for Global Prosperity's PROCOL Kenya programme in order to characterise and monitor land use around current and prospective geothermal energy facilities with the view to supporting the socially, environmentally and economically sustainable growth of the Kenyan geothermal sector.
